POST-IT is a series of photographs by Martina Della Valle that reproduce the pages of a famous book on contemporary photography. Accidentally found on a bus, the book is “censored”. A mysterious author has intervened by covering with yellow post-it notes all the naked bodies reproduced in the images of the most famous contemporary female photographers. The trace of the meticulous work of an unknown reader generates a reflection on the subjective interpretation of the image.

MARTINA DELLA VALLE graduated at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan. Her research starts from the basis of the photographic technique, from the study of the physical and mental traces left by the light, through time and space, and it is often expanded with different languages and forms, having the shape of photos, video, as also site-specific installations. POST-IT is a series of photographs created from pages of a found book on which a mysterious author has intervened by covering with yellow post-its all the naked bodies.
