In The space in between, a self-published book, Margherita Chiarva photographs condoms. Using the camera obscura, she studies the relationship between these objects and the surrounding landscape, documenting their journey from being found in chemical toilets to their transformation into art images. In this way, the idea of concreteness is questioned and the concept itself is reconstructed through the artist’s eye.
