RISE UP!

Rise up! is born as artist’s book to tell about the No Muos Movement. This book is thought of with a dual purpose; on the one hand to raise questions and debate about the installation of a control system in a sensitive area in Sicily by the american forces, on the other hand as a tool for reflection about the movement itself, with the aim of keeping alive the memory of what has been and of moving forward with awareness. 

The book, on the formal and narrative plan is based on several levels of reading. The narrative sequence does not follow a chronological order, but a conceptual and emotional journey. (From the artist website)
